The continent of South America is 4th largest in terms of area and 5th in terms of population. Its approximate area is 1.7 crore sq. Km. and its population is about 40 crores.GDP (in billion-dollar) of Brazil is approximately 3219, Argentina is approximately 911, Colombia is approximately 712, Chile is approximately 452, Peru is approximately 425.
South America has a variety of languages in which the most widely spoken are Spanish, Portuguese, English, and Dutch.
